Omar Warsamee, BA, Mental Health Practitioner
My name is Omar Warsamee. I am an MSW intern through Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I hold a BA in Sociology of Law, Criminology and Deviance from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and I spent several years as a CADI waiver case manager before moving into clinical training. I speak English, Somali, and Arabic. That background gave me a deep understanding of how systems work and what it takes to actually advocate for someone. Now I am bringing that same commitment to skills training and therapy with youth and families. I am direct, I listen, and I show up prepared. My goal is to create a space where you and your child feel respected and comfortable enough to do the real work. Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer and spending time with my family.
